A rendezvous with Germans

Our university has a MoU with two German Universities- CALW and Reidleign. As a part of this MoU , nine students from Germany visited out department. The main reason behind this collaboration is cultural exchange. And the programme was great, as far as I am concerned.
The students who came here stayed and experienced the magic of God's own Country for one whole month. The students are - Rainer Heck, Alexander,David , Franziska, Clara, Chantala, Karin, Sarah and Ksenija. Life in Kerala seemed entirely different from Germany for them, and they were fascinated and a bit in awe about the Keralite culture.
As a part of their visit an International Conference was held at Kairali Heritage, Kannur which was attended by various emminent personality from different countries. Various researsh scholars presented their papers related to the topic "Globalisation, Development, Public Policy and Management: emerging Issues."
During the various interactions with the students I came to know much more about the study system, the life styles, family values, and loads more.
Hope this program takes us, as well as our department, to a new heights.
Next batch of students are eagerly waiting for their chance to fly to Germany this October.
